The monthly
Early911.dk meet up has relocated to a much more fitting stage for classic
cars: The Skovshoved Petrol Station; a historic and still-operating filling
station at the northern outskirts of Copenhagen,
Denmark. First
opened in 1936, it was designed by Arne Jacobsen and is a prime example of the functionalist style typical of the
time.
Whilst the
pumps and the roof are still used as petrol station, the cashier’s building now
houses a shop, selling ice-cream. It’s owned by a very nice guy named Oliver.
Do stop over, if you happen to come by.
Here are a
few pictures from this month’s get-together.
